DK are looking for a Marketing & PR Apprentice to provide creative and administrative support to the Marketing & PR teams and manager by assisting in the planning, production and delivery of marketing campaigns, producing written copy for press releases and other marketing materials, and assisting in design to create digital and printed marketing materials.

  • Contributing to the planning, design and execution of PR and Marketing campaigns
  • Producing written copy for press releases, campaigns and other marketing materials
  • Conducting market research, collecting and analysing data to support media planning, identifying key trends and patterns
  • Assisting with the creation and development of point of sale material
  • Updating and monitoring social media channels, including Twitter
  • Assisting with the planning, organisation and coordination of events, both public and internal, meeting the objectives set out in the brief
  • Assisting in design, learning and developing skills in design software (specifically InDesign) to create digital and printed marketing materials
  • Administrative tasks, including processing and keeping track of invoices, expenses forms and booking travel for the team
  • Keeping up to date on marketing and industry trends, monitoring media coverage and sharing relevant articles with the teamĀ 


Entry requirements

All you need is EEWAP – Energy, Enthusiasm, Willingness to Learn, Ability to Take Feedback and Propensity to Take Action. You’ll also need to pass a face to face screening interview with our Employer Partnerships team (don’t worry, we’re a friendly bunch) and sit initial assessments in Maths and English.
